REFLEX

Posted by Hossein (Tehran, Iran) on 8 February 2008 in Art & Design and Portfolio.

A nice reflex of light on mirrors through the colorful glasses of window. This type of islamic mirror architecture is customary in holy shrines of great religious men in islamic countries specialy IRAN. All this special thin mirrors are cut and sticked together one-by-one exactly by hand!! They are architecturally and regularly embossed with gatch-work and plastering under them!!.. So hard and time consuming but is a great art, eye-catching! you should see to say.... (nothing you can say, just looking them surprised!)
You can find huge dreamful examples of this art in IMAM REZA (a) (Mashhad Province), HAZRATE MASOOMEH (s) (Qom Province) and SHAH ABDOL AZIM (a) (Rey city in Tehran) Holy Shrines in IRAN.

Welcome to my humble "Light Cottage" ,here you'll see my "Light Cuttage"!!
